I had the distinct honor and privilege to participate in a time honored tradition known as “Flags In” at Arlington National Cemetery; an experience that I will never forget which ultimately inspired me to name my business.”

Flagsin Ceremony
Just before Memorial Day weekend, the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (the “Old Guard”) honors America’s fallen heroes by placing American flags at gravesites for service members buried at Arlington National Cemetery and the U.S. Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home National Cemetery.
This tradition, known as “Flags In” has taken place annually since the Old Guard was designated as the Army’s official ceremonial unit in 1948. Every available soldier in the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment participates, placing small American flags in front of more than 228,000 headstones and at the bottom of about 7,000 niche rows in the cemetery’s Columbarium Courts and Niche Wall. Each flag is inserted into the ground, exactly one boot length from the headstone’s base.

2015
Flagsin Group was founded in 2015 as a one man operation taking on multiple projects with a wide variety of local businesses and operations.
2017
Flagsin Group received an opportunity to manage a nationwide project for a large overhead door company based in Dallas, TX. Surveyed and managed the proactive replacement of overhead receiving and cart doors for Walmart and Sams Club across the country. Performed site survey visits to over 1,000 individual locations across the country and managed the installation of every Walmart and Sams Club location in Virginia, South Carolina, Colorado and Ohio.
2019
Began talks with the Walmart home office Faclities Services Team as to how our business model and reach across the country could potentially serve as a solution to assess the condition of their fleet of buildings.
2020
Flagsin Group was vetted and on-boarded as a Walmart prime vendor. Began inspecting industrial coatings on Walmart’s properties with a team of eight inspectors working across the US. (2591 evaluations completed)
2021
Flagsin Group’s services continued to grow with the addition of a team of engineers creating scoping documents utilizing data from initial evaluations. The evaluation team continued to grow with the addition of new post-project evaluations. (3476 evaluations completed TOTAL – 885 for the year)
2022
Evaluation and scoping services continued evolving to best meet client needs. (5,831 evaluations completed TOTAL – 2,355 for the year)
2023
Purchased and moved into its flagship HQs and premier training facility in Charlotte Hall, Maryland to continue providing the best solutions to its customers.
